Step 1; Go to the website of Inland Revenue Department OF The Government of Hong Kong, Special Administrative Region Of the People’s Republic of China
and click the “Enquire now” button.
Tip; It’s important to search for the website using the Chinese search engine for example www.google.com.hk (and not google.com).
Also it’s important to not have multiple windows of the webpage opened as the system would not allow it.
You can use your browser translation feature, to auto translate the webpage to your preferred language as it’s by default in Chinese language.
Step 2; On the next web page you’ll see what information is required for different services. Services which include “Application for Supply of Information” are paid.
Note; To verify the Business registration number using the Business name and Area is not a paid service, It’s Free, so to do this, Click the “Begin Application” button
Step 3; In the next page, you’ll see the steps required for each service, Click on the “Agree” button.
Step 4; On the next page, you will be able to select the service you want, select “Conduct Business Registration Number Enquiry” and Click the “Continue” button.
Step 5; On the next page, Enter the Business name of the Company and Business Area then Click the “Submit” button.
That’s it. You’ll be able to see and verify the Business number of the Hong Kong Supplier’s Company.
