Canada comprises of 13 provinces. Companies can be registered with the Provincial Government or with the Federal Government.
This means that to verify a Company in Canada, you’ll need to search at the respective provincial or Federal Corporation Entry Database.
To confirm Supplier’s Company a Canada, follow these steps;
Step 1; Go to the Federal Corporation Database and enter the Company’s name on the search field;
Click on the “Search” button if the Company is a Corporation which is incorporated in Canada at the Federal level, you’ll be able to see details about the Company and verify the Company details.
If the Company is not registered at the Federal level, the Company could be registered at the provincial level.
To search for Canadian Corporation at the Provincial level, Canada has a new search tool which is currently on (Beta release), the search tool pulls in data from the Corporate registries of Canada 13 provinces.
Step 2; Go to the Corporation Database search tool for all Canada provinces;
Enter the name of the Company and Click the “Search Icon” to see and verify details about the Company.
If the Company is a Corporation which is incorporated in Canada with any of the 13 Canada Provincial Government, you’ll be able to see details about the Company and verify the Company details.
